It is Step by Step Fostering’s policy that consent must be obtained from the young people or parent/ legal guardian if under 16 years old before any image or footage can be used.

If you chose to share your story and experiences we will request your individual consent, or parent/ legal guardian if under 16, and remove your name to protect your identity.

WHEN WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA ABOUT YOU 

You may give us your personal data to enquire about our services, register as a foster carer, send us a communication, or otherwise interact with us or use our website.

We also use share tools on our website pages from social networks, such as Twitter and Facebook, whereby an individual can share information from our website via social media. DATA RETENTION 

Step by Step Fostering shall regularly – not less than every 6 months – review the personal data which it holds and remove any data where retention is no longer justified. Such removal shall be made as soon as is reasonably practical, and in any case no longer than 20 working days (of the relevant Data Processor) after retention of the data was identified as no longer justified.
